Here is a fun way to get your children to eat more vegetables and drink more water. Set up a rabbit picnic! Offer vegetables that are developmentally appropriate for age. At our rabbit picnic we had small bite sized pieces of celery, broccoli florets, and baby carrot sticks. Individual cups with sunflower butter mixed with maple syrup were available for dipping. To drink, we had crisp cool water set out in a clear pitcher. Other dipping sauces might include ranch dressing or pimento cheese. Invite other woodland animals as available to your picnic!
